I know it's been quite some time since I have updated my blog. With 3 moves and renovations in the last 3 years it's been a bit hectic. I have been working at the torch when I can and my life seems to be settling down nicely now and I am able to enjoy creating again.
I have posted some new things on my facebook page which you can see here:

I am grateful for all the support family, friends and customers have graciously extended during my absence!!!!
Love and hugs to all!

A quick update
I have been busy with life and while I did post on my Facebook that I was taking a leave from my world of glass beads I forgot to post it here as well. My leave is needed to take care of an unfortunate family situation. I had hopes of being settled into a new studio/life by mid 2015 but as I often hear, "things take longer than they do" and that certainly is the case in my life. I'm taking a break from all decisions in that regard until the end of summer. Maybe I will be up and running with my life of glass beads by fall 2015 but only time will tell. I miss my torch and studio and I have a great need to start creating again as soon as possible.
Until then, I do have beads for sale at Coyote Beads and finished jewelry at Ginny's Fashions both in Bowling Green, OH. I have beads for sale at The Bead Boutique in Lansing, MI. I have deleted my artfire account as I don't have the time to manage the site and when I return there are new selling venues I would like to try.
Thank you to all my loyal customers, friends and of course family, during this unsettling time. I'll let you know when the new chapter begins!
Sincerely,
Chris

New Necklaces - Inspired by the fall weather I feel coming my way
I love making beads that remind me of fall. That probably means something different to each of us but deep, rich colored beads that are heavy and then tumble etched are definitely in my personal definition of beads that feel like fall. I have to admit I love making these all year around but I shy away from making them into jewelry until fall is near. My good bead friend Dianna came over and helped me assemble all of these necklaces. She loves to make jewelry more than I do. I'd rather just make beads but it's much more fun to assemble jewelry when you work with someone like Dianna who truly enjoys the process. Plus we get to spend time together and get caught up.
I am happy to share with my local customers, family and friends that my finished jewelry is now available for purchase through Ginny's Inspired Fashions in Bowling Green, Ohio. Ginny has nearly any style of hat you could possibly want or she can order something for you if they don't have it.
